Before You Arrive


Now that you’ve registered for a mountain bike summer camp, you’ll want to ensure all your paperwork is done before the first day of camp. Prior to the start of your camp, you will receive an email with a link to CampFax ( where all our online waivers exist. Complete all the paperwork under your camp. If you’ve attended previous camps or programs at WinSport and already have a CampFax account, we require your information to be updated annually so you will have to fill out new waivers before this summer.

You will be required to complete and sign at least two of WinSport’s Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreements (“Waivers”) prior to the first day of camp. These will include a Mountain Bike Waiver and COVID-19 Waiver. All Waivers and related documents must be completed electronically through CampFax prior to arrival. In the event such Waivers are not completed in WinSport’s standard form, your child shall not be permitted to participate in camp. The Waivers will be provided for your review prior to the start of camp.

Friend Requests

If you would like your child in the same group as a friend, you must:

  • Ensure both participants are in the same level and age group of our current camp offering
  • Arrive onsite early for check-in (at 8:00 a.m. for day camps) on the first day.  
  • Connect with your friend request family after parking and move into the check-in queue together
  • Check-in with the appropriate level and age group together while maintaining physical distance
  • Inform your instructor that you are checking in a friend request


Lunches and Snacks

There will be no lunch program for day camps in summer 2020. All participants are required to bring their own water, lunches and snacks. Recommended lunches are those that are best eaten on the go, as not all lunch will be in an indoor space. There will be no access to microwaves, hot water, etc. so please ensure the lunch is suitable for a day on the trails!

For evening camps, please bring water and snacks. 

NOTE: when packing lunches and snacks please remember that all of our camps are a nut free zone.

Parking is free at WinSport. If you are entering the park from the hill road access, the RFID gate will be open from 7:45-9:00 a.m. and 3:45-5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday to allow access for guest check in and out.

Day camps: Please use the check-in map to understand what parking lot to access for your specific camp and where your designated check-in area and bike rack is located.

Evening camps: Please park and check-in the parking lot of the Frank King Day Lodge located at the main entrance on Olympic Road. Designated areas will be available for each camp at the north and south ends of the parking lot. View map here.

Check-In & Pick-Up

Check-in instructions

  • Day camps: After parking in your camp’s designated parking lot, unload your bike and have your child lock their bike up at the nearest bike rack.If your lock has a key, ensure your child has a spare in their backpack. If your lock has a combination, please write it on a piece of paper in your child’s backpack.
  • Evening camps: After parking in the Frank King Day Lodge parking lot (main entrance on Olympic Road), unload your bike and head to the designated check-in area.
All camps:
  • Enter the check-in queue and maintain 2m distance from others at all times.
  • When you reach the front of the line, confirm with the instructor you have completed all online waivers, confirm pickup/emergency contacts and your unique pin number or code word for pick up security, and any medical conditions or allergies for your child.
  • We recommend having only 1 family member drop-off and pickup campers throughout the week to limit exposure and have the same family member do this every day.
  • Every day at check-in we will do an active screening check and take your child’s temperature. If your child has any symptoms of illness, please do not attend camp. Additional fever and symptoms screening may be conducted throughout the day. Symptom monitoring includes: fever (38C or higher), cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, sore throat, chills, painful swallowing, runny nose/nasal congestion, nauseas/vomiting/diarrhea, unexplained loss of appetite, loss of sense of taste or smell, muscle/joint aches, headache, conjunctivitis (pink eye) or general feelings of being unwell).
  • If your child gets sick during the day at camp, they will be isolated from other children and a parent or guardian must be available to pick them up immediately once we call you.
  • Once your child has completed the screening we will sign off you’ve dropped off your child and the time of drop off. We will then direct the child to our indoor space (day camps only) while we wait for the rest of the group. Please do not escort your child into the buildings.

Pick-up instructions

  • For day camps, if you need to pick your child up earlier than 4:00 p.m. please email to make arrangements.
  • Return to the same location where your check-in took place and wait in the queue, maintaining 2m of distance with others at all times.
  • When you reach the front of the line, the WinSport instructor will ask you your name, phone number and your unique pin number or code word to pick-up your child.
  • If you have a child that is aged 10 or older you can opt to have them sign themselves out. This can be done through campfax or by emailing ahead of time to confirm.
  • If you have provided everything correctly the instructor will ask you to wait to the side in a designated space while the instructor gets your child. We will bring your child to you and record who picked the child up and the time.  
  • Unlock your child’s bike from the bike rack and take it with you each day. (Evening camps are not required to lock bikes.)

This information for camps applies to:
  • Gear Gang (Age 6-8, Levels 2-4),
  • Berm Bandits (Age 9-11, Levels 2-4),
  • Enduro (Age 10-16, Level 5+)
