WinSport recognizes that situations change. Here are our current refund considerations.
Winter Hill Season Pass COVID-19 Consideration
If we need to close this winter season due to COVID-19, we will provide you with a credit. We will determine this based on the original payment amount and the number of hill visits up until March 1, 2021. You will receive information on closures via email as soon as possible.
The credit value applies as follows:
Winter pass price - Daily ticket cost x Number of visits = Credit value
Note: We will base credits for family passes on the number of visits of each family member.
We will assess credits at the end of the season (April 2021) and grant them at that time. Credits will be valid for one calendar year and valid towards purchases at WinSport. All other cancellations of season passes will be subject to our refund policy as below.
Season Pass Refund Policy - Medical and Employment Transfer Considerations
If you used your pass prior to January 1, additional refunds will only be considered due to medical conditions or a transfer of employment. The amount is based on the prorated scale below and is subject to a $20 plus GST processing fee.
We assess for the following:
- medical conditions, supported by a doctor's certificate or
- a transfer of employment, supported by a letter from your employer.

Refunds issued depend on the sale price of the pass. For family passes, the refund covers all members of the pass. No refunds apply for individual family members.
Refunds are based on the purchase price of the pass.
Refunds for family passes cover all members of the pass; no refunds will be given for individual family members.
Refund amounts will be based on the following criteria:

Forgotten, Lost or Stolen Passes
Please contact Guest Services if you have forgotten or lost your pass or if you had your pass stolen.
A replacement fee of $5 will apply.
There are NO refunds on ticket purchases.
We issue snow/rainchecks when conditions are poor within 30 minutes from the time of sale. If our chairlifts or magic carpets close for more than 30 minutes, a snow/raincheck applies will apply to the activity ticket.
Refunds or exchanges do not apply on a snow/raincheck.
Please note: hill tickets and cards expire at the end of the winter hill season. They are not valid the following winter season.
