Whether it’s your first time on the hill or you’re looking to improve your skills, we’re excited to have some fun in the snow with you! We want to make sure your lessons go as smoothly as possible, so we’ve created some tips below that will ensure you have an enjoyable day on the hill!

Know Before You Go
Snow School lesson status

As skiing and snowboarding are outdoor activities, WinSport suggests ensuring participants dress in layers, wear an insulated hat under your helmet and ensure you have a good pair of gloves or mittens.

Please note that lessons may be cancelled in cases of extreme cold. Decisions on cancelling programs, closing the hill, tube park or altering operating hours due to cold weather will be made by noon the previous day, and may be based upon, but not limited to, forecasted temperature, windchills and forecasted weather trends. All participants are encouraged to check the hill report for lesson updates and operating hours. In the event WinSport cancels lessons due to weather, we will reach out to you via email as soon as we know. We will place a credit on your WinSport account which can be used towards programming within one year.
