Ages 14 - 17
Turn a passion for skiing into the first step toward becoming an instructor. Instructor Foundations is a development program for teens interested in building the skills and confidence to prepare for future instructor certification. Participants will learn how instructors observe, communicate, support and provide feedback while developing their own leadership skills and gaining insight into what it takes to teach others on the slopes.
Instructor Foundations does not provide instructor or coaching certification; rather, it is designed to help participants build a strong foundation before taking the next step. Participants who do wish to become a certified ski instructor or coach, must also register and complete a certification course separately with the appropriate governing instructors' coaches' alliance/federation.
