Ages 8 - 17
Build on freestyle and all-mountain fundamentals with a greater focus on skill development, technique, and progression. Designed for skiers and snowboarders ages 8-17, Freestylers provides continued coaching in the Intermediate Terrain Park while progressively introducing athletes to the Advanced Terrain Park and XL Halfpipe.
Athletes progress throughout the season toward confidently riding advanced terrain and features. Participants training twice per week may also progress to the Hybrid Airbag at their coach’s discretion.
This program follows the FUNdamentals stage of Freestyle Canada and Canada Snowboard’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model, progressing toward Learn to Train.
Ski athletes interested in competing can indicate their interest during the purchase process. Once the competition schedule is confirmed, eligible athletes will receive an invitation to register for available events.
