Pedal into fun at our WinSport Learn-to-Bike program! Tailored for beginners, our passionate instructors ensure a joyful journey, providing the tools for your child to build solid biking foundations with a smile. Discover a love for riding on two wheels.
Lessons are 2 hours in length. Lift will not be accessible for spring programs. Levels may be combined based on registration.

TERMS OF CONTRACT
IMPORTANT – WAIVERS REQUIRED
A Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement ("Waiver") must be completed prior to participation in WinSport’s Programs, Lessons, and Camps and, if applicable, rental of Equipment. If the applicable Waiver is not completed, participation in the WinSport Program, access to WinSport’s facilities and/or rental of Equipment will not be permitted, and a refund will be provided.
The Waiver will be available for completion during the sales process, and a copy is available for preview below.
- Each adult participant must complete their own Waiver
- A Parent/guardian must complete the Waiver for their minor/child participant
PLEASE READ THE WAIVER CAREFULLY! By signing, you will waive or give up certain legal rights, including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract, or breach of the Occupiers’ Liability Act or claim compensation following an accident.

ENROLLMENT IS REVOCABLE WITHOUT REFUND IN THE EVENT OF MISCONDUCT. CANCELLATION OF ENROLLMENT AND REFUNDS ARE SUBJECT TO WINSPORT’S REFUND POLICY.
NO GUARANTEE OF CONDITIONS
We do not guarantee bike park or trail conditions, weather or other operating conditions including open terrain or lift operation.
NO FOOT TRAFFIC ALLOWED IN BIKE PARK
For the safety of WinSport’s guests, there is no foot traffic allowed or Bike Park viewing of lessons. Parents are not allowed in the Bike Park without mountain bike equipment and a valid ticket/pass. Only persons with a valid ticket/pass who are biking with appropriate equipment will be permitted in the Bike Park.

For the safety and enjoyment of all, Participants and users of WinSport’s facilities are required to follow the WinSport Code of Conduct

Learn to ride a two-wheeler. Our instructors will focus on biking being fun to foster a desire to try more!
Expected level of trails/features
Learn-to-Bike groups will start the week practising how to balance and stride on two wheels through a combination of fun games, drills and riding exercises on grass fields and other flat terrain. This camp will not access the chairlift.
Group Formation
Groups will be organized on day 1 of the camp into smaller groups of 6 or 8 dependent on age group on a first come, first served basis to ensure we maximize our camp time.
Pre-requisites
No previous experience required
Key Goals
- Explore learning how to ride a bike
- Learn to pedal, turn, stop and balance on two wheels
- Progress to ride unsupported
Equipment Required
- Strider bike or a bike with training wheels.
- Certified/approved helmet required
