Below are some details to make the most of your mountain bike camp or program. Here's what you need to know before you go. 

 

Complete your waivers

During the purchase process, please complete your waivers to ensure a smooth check-in on the first day of camp.

What to bring

Dress in layers so you can adjust your temperature for weather conditions and stay dry. There will be no changing areas on site, so please arrive ready. Participants should label their belongings.

  • Bike that meets your program and level requirements
  • Bike helmet
  • Biking armour:
    • Kneepads & gloves strongly recommended.
    • shin, elbow, and arm protection also recommended.
  • Water – carried along
    • Hydration bladder (ex. Camelbak)
    • Water bottle
    • Groups will visit water refill stations as needed.
  • Sunglasses
  • Bug repellent
  • Wear appropriate athletic clothing.
    • Comfortable, moisture wicking synthetic t-shirt or jersey.
    • Shorts and/or athletic pants (no skirts)
    • Socks
    • Comfortable athletic shoes (no open toes)
  • Pack extra layers and weather appropriate extras such as raingear, sweater, pants, wind breaker.
  • Bag suitable for riding.
  • Tools and spare parts
    • Please purchase and pack a spare tube that fits your child’s bike tires.

Participants are welcome to bring bike repair tools, however Instructors will have a pump and bike multi-tool.

When to Get Here

Please arrive 30 minutes early on the first day.  

For private lessons and for all other days, please arrive 15 minutes early.

Where to Park

Parking is available in our main lot by the Frank King Day Lodge as well as across from the Markin MacPhail Centre. Parking is free.

Please note there is construction nearby, so routes are subject to change.
