Youth Learn to Skate

Ages 6 - 12 / Levels 1, 2, 3, 4

Participants will learn and improve valuable skating skills while having fun in our Learn to Skate summer day camp. Beginners will learn the basics such as improving balance and learning to glide, while advanced skaters will refine skills including walking crosscuts and two-foot parallel hockey stops. Available from Level 1 to Level 4.Campers will enjoy two on-ice sessions each day along with a variety of fun and enriching indoor and outdoor camp activities. 

Day camps run on a weekly basis and are full-day camps.

Please note: A Know Before You Go email will be sent to all registrants the week before the first day of camp. Some camps will begin on the ice at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 4:30 p.m. A detailed daily camp schedule will be included in that email.

Terms of Contract

IMPORTANT – WAIVERS REQUIRED

A Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement ("Waiver(s)") must be completed prior to participation in WinSport’s Programs, Lessons, and Camps and, if applicable, rental of Equipment. If the applicable Waiver(s) are not completed, participation in the WinSport Program and access to WinSport’s facilities and/or rental of Equipment will not be permitted, and a refund will be provided.

The Waiver(s) will be available for completion during the sales process, and copies are available for preview below.

• The Waiver(s) will apply to participation in all ice programs, camps and activities and/or equipment rentals for the period of time set out in the Waiver(s).
• A parent/guardian must complete the Waiver(s) for their minor/child participant.

PLEASE READ THE WAIVER(S) CAREFULLY! By signing, you will waive or give up certain legal rights, including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract, or breach of the Occupiers’ Liability Act or claim compensation following an accident.
