Preschool Learn to Skate

Ages 4 - 5 / Levels 1, 2

Build skating skills early in our Preschool Learn to Skate summer camp, offered in Levels 1 and 2. Level 1 is ideal for preschoolers new to the ice and focuses on balance, standing, marching, and getting up after a fall. Level 2 is for skaters who can move independently and are ready to learn gliding, walking backwards, and stopping. Each day includes one on-ice session and one off-ice activity.

Camps run weekly and are half-day programs.

Please note: A Know Before You Go email will be sent to all registrants the week before the first day of camp. Some camps will begin on the ice at 8:30 a.m. and finish at 4:30 p.m. A detailed daily camp schedule will be included in that email.

Full day camp Schedule

• First day of camp check-in: 12pm – 1pm

• Camp activities: 1pm – 4pm
• Camp check-out: 4pm – 4:30pm

4-Day Camps

• First day of camp: Tuesday
• Available Dates: August 4-7

Friend Requests

Friend requests must be within the same program and age group (e.g., U9 Discover). To be considered, participants must arrive together and on time on the first day of camp. Requests will not be made if participants arrive separately or late. A maximum of two friend requests is permitted per customer.

Terms of Contract

IMPORTANT – WAIVERS REQUIRED

A Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreement ("Waiver(s)") must be completed prior to participation in WinSport’s Programs, Lessons, and Camps and, if applicable, rental of Equipment. If the applicable Waiver(s) are not completed, participation in the WinSport Program and access to WinSport’s facilities and/or rental of Equipment will not be permitted, and a refund will be provided.

The Waiver(s) will be available for completion during the sales process, and copies are available for preview below.

• The Waiver(s) will apply to participation in all ice programs, camps and activities and/or equipment rentals for the period of time set out in the Waiver(s).
• A parent/guardian must complete the Waiver(s) for their minor/child participant.

PLEASE READ THE WAIVER(S) CAREFULLY! By signing, you will waive or give up certain legal rights, including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract, or breach of the Occupiers’ Liability Act or claim compensation following an accident.
