PWHL Takeover Tour hits WinSport

Some of the biggest stars in women’s hockey are headed to Calgary, and they will be hitting the ice at WinSport as part of the PWHL Takeover Tour! 

Better yet, they will be signing autographs for fans after they skate! 

The Ottawa Charge and Toronto Sceptres will hold open practices at WinSport on Tuesday, March 31, before facing off the following night at the Scotiabank Saddledome in the first PWHL game ever played in Calgary. 

Six of the Sceptres earned silver medals with Team Canada at the 2026 Winter Olympics. The Charge had five players in Milano Cortina — two winning gold with Team USA and three on Canada’s silver squad 

This is your chance to meet these inspiring and talented athletes, to watch them up-close and to ensure they feel a warm WinSport welcome!

Tuesday, March 31 

Ottawa Charge practice  11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

Ottawa Charge autograph session, open to first 50 fans — 1:15 p.m. to 1:35 p.m.  

Toronto Sceptres practice  12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.  

Toronto Sceptres autograph session, open to first 50 fans — 2:45 p.m. to 3:05 p.m. 

Tickets to the PWHL Takeover Tour game at the Scotiabank Saddledome are available here. This historic matchup is set for
7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1.
