With expertise spanning decades and a passion for hospitality and event management, these individuals bring their client's vision to life. Brittany Sutherland, our Director of Events & Sales, has over 15 years of event planning experience, Brittany has a background in live entertainment marketing in the UK and event management in Calgary. She has been with WinSport for ten years and now leads the Event Specialist team, planning everything from public events to concerts.
When she’s not working, Brittany enjoys adventures with her rescue pup, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and gaming with her new husband.
What’s Brittany’s favourite story? She once had her favourite band dedicate a song to her live on stage.
Meet Kristen Aebig, our Senior Manager of Sales. With years of experience in sales across Calgary, Kristen is all about building great relationships and helping clients bring their visions to life. She got her start in hospitality working at a coffee shop, where her love for connecting with people and the fast-paced environment inspired her career path. Now, she thrives on strategizing and leading our WinSport sales team.
What is something many people don’t know about Kristen? She is a triplet!
Meet Amanda Oag, one of our talented Event Specialists. With over 11 years of experience, Amanda joined WinSport in 2019 after managing weddings and events at Lougheed House. She now focuses on planning everything from corporate meetings to large public and private events.
Amanda’s favourite activity? Amanda loves floating down the Bow River, catching live music, and exploring local breweries with friends and family.
Say hi to Alley Tunney, one of our Event Specialists with over 14 years of hospitality experience. With a background that includes working at prestigious venues like Spruce Meadows and the Marriott, Alley has collaborated with elite clients like the NHL, CFL, and JUNO Awards.
She loves the excitement of turning visions into reality and creating unforgettable experiences for her clients.
What is the coolest thing Alley has ever done? She volunteered at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics and 2024 Paris Olympics with Team Canada at the Canada Olympic House.
Shay-Lynn Miller, is a WinSport Sales Specialist with over 20 years of experience in hospitality. Her impressive career spans roles at top venues across North America, including the Park Hyatt in Colorado, the Marriott in New Orleans, and 15 years at the Hyatt Regency Calgary.
Shay-Lynn’s passion for food, travel, and tourism shines in her work at WinSport, where she loves bringing unique events to life and building lasting client relationships.
What gets Shay-Lynn up in the morning? Being a positive role model for her two children.
