Get Ready for Summer Bike Camps at WinSport!
This Know Before You Go is for the following Summer Camps:
- Learn to Bike Camps
- Beginner Bike Camps
- Mountain Bike Camps
Before Your First Day
- Complete the waiver for your child's camp.
- Complete the Participant Information Form and bring a printed copy to your child’s assigned instructor on the first day of camp. This form is mandatory and will set up our instructors to take care of your child and have a successful week. If you can't print a copy of this form in advance, we will have them available to complete at check-in.
- Does your child need extra support at camp? If your child uses an aide at school, is nonverbal, needs help with personal care, or may benefit from extra support in busy or high-sensory environments, they may require a support worker during camp. Please contact us at least one week before camp at inclusion@winsport.ca for more information.
- Friend Requests: If your child would like to be in the same group as a friend, please notify your child’s assigned instructor at check-in. We recommend friends arrive at check-in at the same time on the first day.
- Complete the following bike checks before arrival:
- Do both front and back brakes work?
- Does the chain shift smoothly between the lowest and highest gears?
- Check tire pressure and make sure the wheels are on tight!
- Inspect for any loose bolts or parts.
Currently, we do not offer rental equipment. Please ensure your required biking gear is inspected and brought each day. If any issues are found, please bring your bike to a repair shop before your program starts.
