Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience
Dec 12, 2026 - Feb 7, 2027
Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience will bring the story of Egypt’s most iconic king to WinSport
Dec. 12, 2026, to Feb. 7, 2027
This touring exhibition will be staged in the former Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame building.
This is a journey of wonder, with guests moving at their own pace through a series of recreations inspired by the treasures of Tutankhamun’s tomb. This enthralling and educational exhibit comes to life through projection mapping, archival photography and narrated storytelling, and culminates in a cinematic centrepiece in a boat-shaped seating area.
Beyond King Tut: The Immersive Experience is presented by Annerin Productions, co-producer of Calgary’s 2021 Beyond Van Gogh run. Please note this is a media and storytelling experience that features recreations inspired by the treasures of Tutankhamun's tomb, not a loan of real Egyptian artifacts.
