Before Your First Day

Step 1: Complete your waivers

Sport and Summer Sampler Camps

Participation in WinSport’s Sport and Summer Sampler Camps (the “Program”) is subject to completion of WinSport’s Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreements (the “Waivers”) by the participant or their parent/legal guardian prior to the first day of the Program. PLEASE READ THESE WAIVERS CAREFULLY! By signing, you will waive or give up certain legal rights including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract, or breach of the Occupiers’ Liability Act or claim compensation following an accident. In the event the Waivers are not completed, participation in the Program shall not be permitted and a refund will be provided.

Step 2: Plan what to wear/bring

Our Sport Camps are committed to spending as much time outdoors as possible; we will only use indoor spaces if the weather presents a hazard to our staff and campers' safety. Please bring clothes that can get dirty. If your child is not dressed appropriately for the weather, they may not be able to participate in their program that day.

Please be sure to bring:

  • A backpack that can be worn all day
  • Sunscreen (please apply before arrival, and provide a bottle for reapplying throughout the day)
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Bug repellent
  • Rain jacket
  • Clothes that do not restrict movement and can get dirty
  • Socks
  • Waterproof jacket
  • Change of clothes
  • Closed-toed athletic shoes.
  • Minimum two 1-litre water bottles
  • Any required medication
  • Pocket snacks, lunch (no microwave or refrigerator will be available)

For Basketball camps, please bring both indoor and outdoor shoes.

Please label your child’s belongings.

Where to Go

Check-in will take place in the Performance Training Centre Field. Look for onsite signage to direct you.

At the End of the Day

All camp groups will return to the Performance Training Centre field for checkout at 4:00PM. Your child will stay with their instructor until a parent or guardian signs them out by using the password chosen the morning of the first day. Please ensure that whoever collects your child knows the password.

After Care
As with before care, WinSport offers complimentary after care between 4:00PM and 5:00PM. Your child will enjoy casual games and activities during the hour after camp. Please ensure your child is picked up by 5:00PM.

Self Sign Out
If your child is aged 12 and up and you have signed the required self sign-out form, you will not need to be present to provide a password for check-out. Instead, our instructors will give the all clear to your child so they can leave camp.
