Opening June 23 for the 2025/2026 season
Located on the main floor of the Markin MacPhail Centre at WinSport, across from the High Performance Training Centre. A world-class facility, WinSport’s Ice House provides the opportunity for athletes in sliding sports (bobsleigh, luge, and skeleton) to practice a critical element of their sport – the launch.
The Icehouse regularly operates from July and runs until March. The Icehouse will be closed for the offseason from March until July, unless otherwise communicated.
Icehouse Rate Categories
- Canadian National Rate
- International Team Rate (4 athletes or more)
- Small Group International Team Rate (3 athletes or less)

Icehouse In-Season Operating Hours
- Monday – Friday 9:00am – 8:00pm
- Saturday – Sunday 9:30am – 2:00pm
The icehouse schedule can be viewed below. It will only show 30 days in advance. For booking inquiries more than 30 days away, please contact sliding@winsport.ca
