Humptys Champions Cup


The Humptys Champions Cup is returning to Calgary. The season-ending Pintys Grand Slam of Curling event will be held at WinSport Arena at Canada Olympic Park for the second consecutive year and takes place April 24-29, 2018. It’s a clash of the champions to close out the 2017-18 campaign featuring 15 mens teams and 15 womens teams who must win a high-profile tournament over the course of the season in order to qualify

Dueling Piano Kings

Dueling Piano Kings is a highly interactive all-request piano show where your requests rule. They are the first winners ever of the 2017 Calgary Event Award for “Best Entertainer”! Dueling Pianos Kings we also nominated for “Entertainer of the Year” at the Canadian Special Event Awards in 2018.

Pull out your shoulder pads and get ready to sing the night away. Join the comical Shona Wilson along with celebrity guests from the Grand Slam of Curling roster for a night of 80s-themed karaoke.

WinSport was born out of the 1988 Winter Olympic Games. Since then we have evolved into a diverse, self-contained campus nestled on the edge of the city that boasts both indoor and outdoor venues. WinSport Arena has a seating capacity of 3922 and ample parking on-site. Our award winning in-house marketing and catering teams will work with you to ensure your event is a success.

Catering

WinSport Executive Chef Liana Robberecht joined the team in 2015 after spending nearly two decades at the prestigious Calgary Petroleum Club. Since beginning her career at NAIT in the early 90’s, she has also trained at Vancouver’s Dubrulle French Culinary School and studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Robberecht was named Chef of the Year by the Alberta Foodservice Expos and Canadian Restaurant and Foodservice News magazine in 2011. Chef Liana and her team, which includes executive sous chef Ronnie Gillman and sous chef Wanda Ly, will provide you and your guests with a memorable experience to suit all your culinary desires.
