Arena Information

WinSport was born out of the 1988 Winter Olympic Games. Since then we have evolved into a diverse, self-contained campus nestled on the edge of the city that boasts both indoor and outdoor venues. WinSport Arena has a seating capacity of 3922 and ample parking on-site. Our award winning in-house marketing and catering teams will work with you to ensure your event is a success.

WinSport Executive Chef Liana Robberecht joined the team in 2015 after spending nearly two decades at the prestigious Calgary Petroleum Club. Since beginning her career at NAIT in the early 90’s, she has also trained at Vancouver’s Dubrulle French Culinary School and studied at the Alberta College of Art and Design. Robberecht was named Chef of the Year by the Alberta Foodservice Expos and Canadian Restaurant and Foodservice News magazine in 2011. Chef Liana and her team, which includes executive sous chef Ronnie Gillman and sous chef Wanda Ly, will provide you and your guests with a memorable experience to suit all your culinary desires.
