Cold Weather Preparedness and Cancellations
Freestyle skiing and Snowboarding are outdoor winter sports that can enjoyed in a wide range of conditions. At WinSport, safety is paramount. Coaches will keep athletes active, engaged, and introduce warm-up routines and breaks alongside other adaptations to ensure athletes are safe, comfortable, and continue to learn on colder weather days.
In the event of extreme weather, it may be necessary for WinSport to cancel a lesson. This decision will be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, temperature, wind chill, humidity, cloud cover and time of the lesson. Participants will be contacted by email in the event of a cancellation.
