Progress your riding on new trails and learn advanced riding skills while shredding with a group of like-minded ladies. Receive personal feedback from an experienced instructor and build confidence as you push your comfort zone on steeper terrain in our Women's only fall programs.

Women's Mountain Bike - Fall - Level 2

Our Women's only level 2 Fall program will give you the tools to charge through technical blue and black terrain while building your endurance. To be prepared for this level, you should already be comfortable riding on blue or easy black terrain.

Pre-requisites

  • Ride on pathways and gentle terrain
  • Use both brakes to stop safely on green terrain.
  • Shift gears correctly to climb easier on gentle terrain.

Key Goals

  • Can ride in a ready and climbing position on Green terrain and gentle blue terrain.
  • Use both brakes to maintain control and traction on green and gentle blue terrain.
  • Shift into appropriate gear to maintain a cadence on green and gentle blue terrain
  • Choose the appropriate line to maneavuer around obstacles on the trail

Women's Mountain Bike - Fall - Level 3

Explore our endless trails while devloping important skills! Oure Level 3 Fall program equips you with the tools to handle more challenging terrain. To be prepared for this level, you should already be comfortable riding in a standing ‘ready’ position on Green and easier Blue terrain.

Pre-requisites

  • Ride in a standing 'ready' position on green terrain.
  • Controlled use of front and back brakes on green & gentle blue terrain.
  • Can shift gears correctly to climb or descend green terrain more easily.
  • Can choose the appropriate line to maneuver around obstacles on the trail.

Key Goals

  • Can show a proper ‘climbing’, ‘ready’ or 'downhill' position while riding up or down blue terrain.
  • Efficient use of front and back brakes on blue terrain to maintain traction and control.
  • Shift gears correctly to go up or down green or blue terrain while maintaining speed.
  • Maneuver around small obstacles (sticks, rocks, puddles) on green or blue terrain.

Conquer challenging terrain and refine your skills! Level 4 gives you the tools to climb and descend through more difficult terrain with confidence. To be prepared for this level, you should already be comfortable riding in a standing ‘ready’ position on green or easy blue terrain.

Pre-requisites

  • Can show a proper ‘climbing’ or ‘ready’ or 'downhill position while riding up or down blue terrain.
  • Safe use of front and back brakes on blue terrain to maintain traction and control.
  • Can shift gears correctly to go up or down green or blue terrain while maintaining speed.
  • Can maneuver around small obstacles (sticks, rocks, etc.) on green or blue terrain.

Key Goals

  • Use correct uphill or downhill position on technical Blue terrain
  • Efficient use of both brakes on technical blue terrain to maintain traction and control.
  • Correct timing when using brakes to maintain speed and control.
  • Shift gears pre-emptively through uphill or downhill terrain to maintain a proper cadence.
  • 'Ghost shift’ to transition between gears efficiently.
  • Ride over small obstacles (sticks, rocks, etc.) with correct body position.
  • Scan the trail and choose the appropriate line in a corner or on a technical blue trail

Not ready to put the bike away yet? Our Women's only level 5 program helps you end off the season strong. Focus on refining finer details within your riding to help you become faster, in control and ready to take on steeper terrain. To be prepared for this level, you should already be comfortable riding in a standing ‘ready’ position on blue or easier black terrain.

Pre-requisites

  • Use correct uphill or downhill position on technical blue terrain.
  • Efficient use of both brakes on technical blue terrain to maintain traction and control.
  • Correct timing when using brakes to maintain speed and control.
  • Shift gears pre-emptively through uphill or downhill terrain to maintain a proper cadence.
  • 'Ghost shift’ to transition between gears efficiently.
  • Ride over small obstacles (sticks, rocks, etc.) with correct body position.
  • Scan the trail and choose the appropriate line in a corner or on a technical blue trail.

Key Goals

  • Brake efficiently to maintain speed in corners and technical sections.
  • Use pressure control to generate speed.
  • Use rotation to improve cornering.
  • Distinguish safe, fast and efficient line choice in technical sections.
  • Air over a jump or feature and maintain proper positioning.
  • Learn different maneuvers such as a bunny hop, front wheel lift and rear wheel lift.
  • Shift gears efficiently to maintain speed through technical blue and black terrain.
