Take your skiing to the next level and refine specific skills with our experienced instructors! This two-hour skills clinic focuses on teaching specific skills such as advanced carving, introduction to jumping, and other exciting options. These clinics are for any confident and advanced skier, ages 18 years or older looking to hone their skills. Sessions will be skill-specific as each clinic focuses on a different area of your skiing. Come ski with us, then go out impress your friends on the slopes!

Ski Skills Clinic - Level Advanced (Carving)

Learn how to get more performance out of your ski and maintain more speed, consistency and control through your turns. This Clinic will equip you with tactics and feedback to help you improve your carving skills.

Pre-requisites

  • Ski with parallel skis on green/blue terrain
  • Comfortably ski at higher speeds
  • Able to confidently ride intermediate/chairlift terrain

Key Goals

  • Develop and refine specific elements of your skiing
  • Build confidence in different terrain
  • Establish stronger fundamental skiing habits to allow you to ride more advanced terrain
  • Receive personal feedback on skiing performance

Equipment Required

Dress in layers so you can adjust your temperature for hill conditions and stay dry. Come wearing the following items for a successful lesson experience:

  • Buff or face covering
  • CWSAA approved Snow Sport Helmet
  • Goggles
  • Base layers made of moisture-wicking fabric
  • Winter jacket
  • Waterproof snow pants
  • Wool socks
  • Gloves/mittens
  • Neck warmer
  • Skis with metal edges and release bindings

Boxes and rails can be a little intimidating at first but worry no more! Join us as one for our experienced instructors will take you through a fun, safe progression and equip you with the tools to tackle boxes and rails with confidence

Learn to adjust your turn shape to meet the needs of your terrain. The goal of this clinic is to give you more control over your turn shape and allow you to maintain a corridor through varying degrees of steepness to help you ski more consistently and safely.
