Before You Arrive

Waivers Are Required to Participate

It is critical that you complete your waivers in advance of arrival. 

Please use the same e-mail address you used to book your lessons to sign in to complete your waiver.

Participation in WinSport’s Mountain Bike programs, lessons and camps (the Program”) is subject to completion of WinSport’s Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks and Indemnity Agreements (the “Waivers”) by the participant or their parent/legal guardian prior to the first day of the Program. PLEASE READ THESE WAIVERS CAREFULLY! By signing, you will waive or give up certain legal rights including the right to sue for negligence, breach of contract, or breach of the Occupiers’ Liability Act or claim compensation following an accident. In the event the Waivers are not completed, participation in the Program shall not be permitted and a refund will be provided. The Waivers can be viewed and completed here.

Health Screening Questionnaire

Within one hour of your arrival to WinSport, please complete the following health screening questions

We will complete a temperature check at check-in each day of camp. 

COVID-19 information
  • Parents must wear a mask during check-in/out.
  • Participants must wear a mask during check-in/out.
  • Children are not required to wear a mask at camp while outdoors, provided they are able to maintain social distancing. 
  • Participants must wear a mask when indoors, using washrooms, or when social distancing cannot be maintained.
  • In the event of inclement weather, instructors and children will need to wear a mask while sheltered indoors.
  • Participants exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 are not permitted to attend camp.
  • Please let your instructor know of any pre-existing medical conditions during check-in.

Dress for success - Mountain Bike Camps

Dress in layers so you can adjust your temperature for weather conditions and stay dry. There will be no change areas on-site, so please arrive ready.

Participants should label their belongings. Come wearing the following items for a successful lesson experience:

  • Face covering made of at least 2 layers of fabric. Please test your face covering before attending your lesson to ensure it will remain in place.
  • Bike helmet (full face helmet is optional for higher levels)
  • Bike lock (recommended)
  • Biking armour for knees, shins, elbows, arms (recommended)
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Bug repellent
  • Comfortable, moisture wicking synthetic t-shirt or jersey
  • Shorts and/or athletic pants (no skirts)
  • Socks
  • Extra layers and weather appropriate extras such as raingear, sweater, pants, wind breaker
  • Comfortable athletic shoes (no open toes)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Selection of tools/equipment-spare tube, multi tool, tire levers, small pump
  • Bag suitable for riding

 



 

 

Dress for success - Into the Wild Camps

Ensure you are dressed for the expected weather each day. We will be spending as much time outdoors as possible and will only use indoor spaces if the weather presents a hazard to our staff and campers safety. 

Bring clothes that can get very dirty! Participants should label their belongings.

  • Face covering made of at least 3 layers of fabric. Please test your face covering before attending your lesson to ensure it will remain in place. 
  • Sunscreen 
  • Hat 
  • Sunglasses 
  • Bug repellent 
  • Rain jacket 
  • Shorts and/or athletic pants (no skirts) 
  • Socks 
  • 1 change of clothes 
  • Sturdy closed toe shoes that can get wet or dirty 
  • Backpack suitable for hiking 
  • Minimum one 1-litre water bottle 
Dress for success - Call of the Wild Camps

 When You Arrive

 

Please bring a back pack to carry extra layers, water and snacks so you have what you need for the duration of your camp. If you are biking, please ensure your back pack is small and comfortable enough to ride with. Visit the check-in table upon arrival for further instructions and to meet your instructor. Please ensure your health screening questionnaire has been completed before you check-in.

Please note: Our programs are offered based on existing and evolving COVID-19 guidelines. We will adjust our operations as required to ensure a safe experience for our program participants and Team Members.
