Before getting here

What to bring with you
  • Program confirmation email
  • Snacks for breaks
  • Water bottle/Camelback
  • Skis - edges must be in good working order and must not have burrs or rough sections that could damage the airbag
  • Wax - High grade wax is not required but all participants must provide ski wax
  • Ski boots
  • Helmet
  • Light gloves
  • Ski Poles will not be required for this program

When and Where to Arrive
  • You will meet your coach in the trampoline room on the ground floor of the Frank King Day Lodge to the left of the Guest Services desk
  • Skis and boots can be stored in the trampoline room during the day
  • Please refer to the map above for parking and check in directions.

Full Day Camp Hours Are 8:30am - 4pm
  • Check In: 7:30 am – 9:00 am
 
  • Pick up: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

What else you should know
  • Cancellations made more than 5 days prior to the program start date will be refunded less a $20 processing fee
  • Cancellations made between 5 days and 24 hours prior to the program start date will be credited to the purchaser’s WinSport account
  • No cancellations can be made within 24 hours of the program start date
  • There are no refunds for missed classes during a program
  • Credits issued will be kept on the purchaser’s WinSport account for one calendar year
  What To Wear
Airbag Camps - Know Before You Go

  • Rain jacket / rain suit*
  • Bug repellent
  • Long sleeve shirt for airbag
  • Short sleeve shirt for other activities
  • Ski socks for airbag
  • Regular socks for other activities
  • Long or short athletic pants (no skirts)
  • Extra layers (sweatshirt, sweatpants, etc.)*
  • Comfortable athletic shoes (no open toes)
  • Change of clothes (recommended)
  • All piercings and jewelry must be removed when on trampolines and airbag
*Our Airbag camps are designed to run in all weather conditions

The summer beginner acrobatic program is facilitated by one of our certified coaches.

This program will introduce basic acrobatic skills in a safe and fun environment. It will not only develop acrobatic skills but also awareness, balance and coordination through trampoline activities.

Participants do not need any previous trampoline/acrobatic experience.

The summer intermediate/advanced acrobatic program is facilitated by one of our certified coaches.

This program will develop the fundamental acrobatic skills in a safe and fun environment. This program will not only develop acrobatic skills but also awareness, balance and coordination through trampoline activities.  This program is a progression from our beginner programs. Participants will focus on advanced acrobatic manoeuvres such as spinning flips and off-axis rotations. This camp is ideal for those on Development Teams (9&10) looking to refine and develop their acrobatic skills for next winter.

Previous trampoline/acrobatic experience needed.

The summer Ski Development Camp is the place to keep your skills in tune throughout the summer in preparation for next winter. This skiing-focused camp is facilitated by one of our certified coaches and is for athletes aged 9-16 who are looking to continue to develop their skiing. The camp includes:
  • Airbag use to perfect and qualify flips and off axis-spins
  • Trampoline time to develop acrobatic skills
  • Dry Slope Rail Park– NEW this year! Along with developing aerial skills, our new dry slope rail set up will allow skiers to continue to progress their rail tricks throughout the summer
This program is ideal for anyone who was a member of a WinSport Development (9&10) Teams and wants to develop for next season. This program is open to athletes from other club programs that are working within the Freestylerz program laid out by Freestyle Canada. 

**Please note this is for advanced skiers who meet the prerequisites. Athletes not at the right level will not be able to participate in this program

Prerequisites
  • Skiers must be able to spin minimum 360 both natural and unnatural on the west line at WinSport
  • Skiers must be confident hitting medium/large jumps
  • Skiers must be on a WinSport Development Team or equivalent at another club
  • Must be comfortable on medium difficulty rail features
  • Must have successfully landed front or back flips on trampoline or snow

  • Skis cannot have sharp or rough edges to maintain protect the airbag
